The Program
The Creative Forum’s program is diverse, including:
Masterclass series For the advanced student or practitioner: exposure to contemporary methods and theories.
Audio Art Basics For those new to audio art: grounding in audio and composition practices through classes presented by leading artists.
Collaborative exploration: Creative labs & Expert presentations / Roundtable discussions
State-of-the art multichannel audio studio facilities will enable a creative setting for experimentation and presentation of new, challenging methods, ideas and artworks. Results to be presented at The Gala, June 22.
Improvisation collective A four-day exploration of voice, musical instruments and sound, with Ellen Waterman.
Presentations Nightly artist talks and presentations of audio compositions.
Prairie Immersion Tour Afternoon and evening trip to experience the beauty of open prairie settings, with a prairie supper and Artist’s Presentation.
Gala Presentation Special presentations and new works from AIS2 artists, composers and participants concludes the final evening, June 22.
Note: Many of these events are being held in conjunction with the conference AIS2: Intersections, June 20-22.
