This series of exercises consists of a mixture of new French exercises and updated versions of French exercises previously authored by faculty for use in the Language Resource Centre. The latter have been updated to match more closely with the Entre Amis textbook (Houghton Mifflin, 2002) currently in use with the French 100, 101, 102 and 110 courses.
Our thanks to Francoise Kenny for the hours of work revamping these exercises on paper, and to Michael Akinpelu, Nadine Bouchardon (Department of French), Jacinthe-Laure Frost (Department of French), Brigitte Haguès (Department of French), Frédéric Laganière (Department of French), Michel Laviolette (Institut français), Celine Magnon (Department of French), Dominique Sarny (Institut français), and Dr. Sybile Tremblay (Department of French) for assisting with the recording of new or replacement audio.
These exercises were built largely with the Hot Potatoes program (University of Victoria, www.halfbakedsoftware.com).
However many of the Dictation exercises were built with the ALLE Dictateur (University of Calgary, http://www.commons.ucalgary.ca/alle/dictateur/).
