Why U of R?

1. Tuition Agreements - You Pay the Same Rate as Canadians!

Thanks to our existing agreements, North Dakota and Montana students get the same tuition rates as students who are Canadian citizens. Plus, those rates are in Canadian dollars! This tuition agreement is open to students who are US citizens and have been residents of North Dakota or Montana for at least one full year prior to the time of admission.

For you, this means lower-cost, high-quality international education. It makes pursuing your studies with us more affordable — lower out-of-state tuition rates and you can save even more because of the exchange rate! Depending on your area of study, a year of tuition can cost around $9000 Canadian dollars, which is about $6500 USD. Imagine... an entire four years of tuition for around $30,000 USD!
2. Small College Experience, University Degree

When it comes to education, a one-size-fits-all model simply doesn’t work. That’s why we have three federated colleges through which you can pursue your University of Regina degree — Campion College, First Nations University of Canada, and Luther College.

Our federated colleges offer students a unique and supportive community within the larger U of R community. Students enrolled through a federated college graduate with a U of R degree, access all the same U of R supports and services, and benefit from the unique opportunities of their college. Each college provides individual academic advising support, smaller class sizes, and additional scholarship and bursary opportunities — all at no additional cost!
